This product resembles traditional bacon in some ways, but it comes from the cheeks of a pig rather than the belly. Cured and smoked – more circular in shape and more fatty, it makes for an excellent addition to a variety of meals. Good for seasoning recipes. Try it out (fried) in recipes such as in spaghetti carbonara or bean soup. 1 lb pack.
